Parker portal
The self-service experience where parkers view and pay invoices, save methods, and ask an assistant.
Overview
The parker portal is a self-service experience where your customers handle their own parking billing — viewing invoices, paying online, saving payment methods, and seeing their history — without calling your office. It carries your operator branding and theme.
How parkers sign in
Parkers access the portal at /portal/login using their email, with a verification step to confirm identity. Each parker only ever sees their own account and the accounts they're authorized for.
First-time registration
A new parker registers with their email and the account number from their welcome notice. Aqili Next emails a verification link; clicking it confirms identity and lands them on their dashboard. No password to remember on first use — identity is verified by email each time, or through your operator SSO if configured.
Viewing and paying invoices
- See open and historical invoices with full line-item detail.
- Pay by ACH or card in a few clicks.
- Download receipts and statements.
Paying an invoice, step by step
- Open the invoice from the dashboard to see each charge and any tax or late fee.
- Choose a saved payment method, or add a bank account or card.
- Confirm the amount — partial payments are supported where your policy allows.
- Get an instant receipt; the balance updates and the payment posts to the operator's ledger.
Saved methods and auto-pay
Parkers can save a bank account or card and turn on auto-pay so invoices are collected automatically when due — fewer past-due balances for you, one less thing to remember for them.
Corporate accounts
For corporate accounts with charge splitting, the portal shows exactly how each charge is divided between the employer and the employee, so there's no confusion about who owes what.
The parker assistant
Parkers can ask an assistant questions about their account and get answers from their live data. It's scoped to the signed-in parker — it can never see another customer's account. Typical questions:
- “What's my current balance?” → the open total across all the parker's invoices.
- “When is my next invoice due?” → the next due date and amount.
- “Why did my bill go up this month?” → the line-item that changed (e.g. a rate change or proration).
- “How is my charge split with my employer?” → the employer/employee breakdown on a corporate account.
As everywhere in Aqili Next, the assistant answers and drafts; any action that changes data is confirmed explicitly before it happens.
