Payments
ACH, cards, lockbox, and auto-pay — applied to invoices and reconciled to the GL automatically.
Overview
Payments come in through several channels and are applied to the right invoices and reconciled to the general ledger automatically — no spreadsheets, no manual matching. Every payment carries enough detail to trace it from receipt to GL entry.
Payment methods
- ACH bank debits (NACHA-compliant batches and returns handling)
- Credit and debit cards via Stripe, including saved methods
- Lockbox imports for paper checks
- Auto-pay for parkers who want it handled automatically
ACH and NACHA
ACH debits are assembled into NACHA-compliant batches on your schedule. Returns and corrections flow back into the platform and reverse the original application, so balances and the GL stay accurate without manual cleanup.
Cards and auto-pay
Card payments are processed through Stripe; full card numbers never touch our systems. Parkers can save a payment method and enable auto-pay so invoices are collected when they're due. Failed charges are retried per policy and surfaced for follow-up.
Lockbox imports
For checks that still arrive by mail, import your lockbox file and the platform matches payments to open invoices, flagging anything it can't confidently apply for a quick human decision.
Application & reconciliation
Payments are applied to open invoices using your configured rules (oldest-first by default), and each application posts the corresponding GL entries. The Reconciliation agent can review unmatched or partial payments and propose applications, which a human approves.
Deposits and refunds
Deposits are tracked against accounts and released or applied per your policy. Refunds reverse the original payment and its GL impact, with a reason recorded in the audit log.
